About Me

I study Computer Science at UCLA with a focus on algorithms, systems programming, and shipping reliable software. I care about clear architecture and solid fundamentals.

I transferred from Pasadena City College, where I graduated from the Honors Program with Dean’s Honors every term—training that pushed me to learn fast, communicate clearly, and sweat the details.

Experience

Full-Stack Developer

SyncSphere — Team Project

  • Architected a client-server platform with React and an Express/PostgreSQL backend; custom SSE module broadcasts database changes to all subscribed clients in real time.
  • Designed relational schema with cascading deletes; atomic invite flows, email-normalized registration, and role-based access (member, manager, owner).
  • Integrated OpenAI for daily project summaries with template fallback; activity logging with ILIKE search and bcrypt session auth over HTTP-only cookies.

Game Developer

Alien Snake 3D — Team Project

  • Built a 3D snake game with the full WebGL pipeline: affine transforms, third-person camera, perspective projection, and mouse-driven movement.
  • Implemented collision detection, hawk AI with bouncing motion, power-ups, and a level system that scales speed and obstacles each round.
  • Coordinated via Git branching and code review; added shatter animations and dynamic wall transparency to improve playability.
